Account Information: Name, business email address, and password (stored as a secure hash).

Business Data: Client details, invoice data, revenue records, bank statement uploads, and GST information you enter into the platform.

Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, login timestamps, and IP addresses - used to improve the Service and detect fraud.

Consent Record: When you accept these terms, we record the timestamp of your consent for compliance purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the MoneyGence platform
• To generate GST-compliant invoices and financial reports on your behalf
• To send transactional emails (invoice delivery, verification, password reset)
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
• To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your financial data for advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers in India. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• bcrypt password hashing (never stored in plain text)
• Role-based access controls
• Regular security audits

No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties except:

• Service Providers: Email delivery services (for sending invoices and notifications) under strict data processing agreements
• Legal Requirements: When required by Indian law, court order, or government authority
• Business Transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, with prior notice to users

5. GST Data

Invoice and GST data you generate on the platform belongs to you. We process it solely to provide the invoicing and reconciliation features.

We do not file returns or communicate with the GST portal on your behalf unless you explicitly use an integration that requires it.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian data protection law and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent (which will result in account termination)

7. Cookies and Analytics

We use session cookies to maintain your login state.

We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and usage patterns on our public marketing pages, which sets its own cookies. We have enabled Google Signals, which allows Google Analytics to associate visits to our website with a visitor's Google Account if that visitor is signed in to a Google Account with Ads Personalization turned on, and to report aggregated demographic and interest data to us as a result. This applies to visitors browsing our public website, not to activity inside your MoneyGence account, which is not shared with Google Analytics in this way.

You can control whether this applies to you via Ads Personalization in your Google Account settings, and Google Signals data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. We do not use this data to run our own advertising, and we do not set our own third-party advertising cookies.

8. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, data is permanently removed within 30 days unless retention is required by law.

9. Children

MoneyGence is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email and in-app notice at least 15 days before any material changes take effect.
